Getting to Gaia from anywhere in the world has become very easy. Many European and worldwide airline companies provide cheap flights to Porto. By looking at Porto’s Airport website you can have quick and easy access to all the information necessary for your trip.
Visa information
For our visitants from countries within the European Union as well as Andorra; Iceland; Lichtenstein; Norway and Switzerland, only identity card is required for entering the country.
For residents in Australia; Argentina; Bolívia; Brazil; Brunei; Canadá; Chile; South Korea; CostA Rica ;Croatia; El Salvador ;United States; Guatemala; Honduras; Israel; Japan; Malasya; Mexico; Monaco; Nicaragua;New Zealand; Panama; Paraguay; San Marino; Singapore; Uruguay; Vatican; Venezuela and depending on the type of passport you are caring, Administrative Regions of the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macau are required to have passports valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned stay for stays not exceeding 90 days.
Citizens from all other countries not listed above are required to have an entering visa issued by the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in country of origin for stays up to 90 days. If your country doesn’t have diplomatic Portuguese representation the visas should be asked directly to the embassy that represents Portugal according to the Schengen agreement.
We recommend all the visitors travelling under these circumstances a minimum of 4 weeks in advance for asking for your visa.
Schengen visas are valid for all countries within the Shengen states, so the flights between them are recognized as internal flights.
